5 Types of Content To Keep Your Audience Engaged
As an online business strategist for spiritual coaches, one of the biggest challenges I come across is one’s relationship with social media and the commitment to showing up consistently and regularly.
Yes, I tell my clients to post on social media every day.
The resistance that shows up in that is massive, and I get it! I used to have such a hard time posting every day. I didn’t have time to create content every day, and then some days I just wasn’t inspired and didn’t know what to create.
How was I to know what to post every day?
So if you find yourself lacking inspiration, here are a few different types of content you can play around with for your audience to add value, keep things interesting, and help you be inspired.
Educational Posts
Seriously - teach them something fun, interesting, or helpful. Keep it simple and short.
Comparison
Tell them why something they’re doing doesn’t work, and what they might consider doing instead.
Curiosity
Give them 3 (or 5 or 10) things to consider to help them work toward their desired result. Get them curious about potential next steps they could take.
Diagnostic
Tell them why they aren’t getting the results they are looking to achieve. Give them evidence. Share statistics or break common myths.
How To
Give them a quick how-to that will give them quick results. Show them an easy process or a quick tip that will give them a quick turnaround that makes them feel achieving their desired result is possible.
Obviously creating powerful and valuable social content isn’t something I can wrap up in one quick post. Perhaps giving this a try and playing around with different types of content might inspire you to get creative and be more consistent in your posting.
